Night and Snore Guards
Excessive jaw clenching and bruxism can lead to significant tooth and jaw deterioration over time. Additionally, snoring can adversely affect both your sleep quality and that of those around you. To provide our patients with effective solutions, we offer customized snore and night guards tailored to their bite.
One type of night guard functions as a cushion between the upper and lower dental arches, helping to absorb the forces of clenching and grinding. Another type serves as a spacer, creating more room between the front teeth to prevent contact between the upper and lower jaws.
Snore prevention mouthpieces resemble night guards but have a different purpose. Instead of cushioning or spacing, these devices keep the lower jaw in a forward position, effectively reducing pressure on the larynx and helping to minimize snoring. By using these customized solutions, patients can promote better sleep for themselves and those around them.
